During the first intermediate of Latvian hockey league match, Andris Grīnfelds, best trial rider in Baltics and 2nd in European hard-enduro championship, performed a previously unseen moto show on ice.

The show was called – motorsport unites with ice hockey. And it worked as Andris Grīnfelds entered the ice rink with a jump over a hockey net at the same time when Dāvis Straupe performed a penalty shot with goalie Guntars Reiss in the net. After that, he made a new worldwide record – he rode an entire lap around ice rink with a wheelie.

Andris Grīnfelds was full of emotions: „Huge satisfaction, as we did everything as planned and we could give the crowd loads of positive emotions. We did hard work at the practices and that’s why I was confident. We will now continue with other projects!”

The hockey match was won by home team Kurbads, beating Zemgale/LLU 3:2.
